Arsenal legend Ian Wright says Liverpool striker Andy Carroll can be a Euros star with England.
Wright wrote in The Sun: "Luca Toni was a World Cup winner with Italy and I think Carroll can be just as effective as him. If you were looking for an English comparison with Carroll I'd go for Mark Hateley, who had a good career with Coventry, AC Milan, Monaco and Rangers.
"It will also be vital for players such as Ashley Young and Steven Gerrard to get the ball to Carroll's feet.
"But, as I said, the key is to send over decent crosses towards Carroll from the wide areas."
