Arsenal legend Ian Wright admits he avoids gossiping with son Shaun Wright-Phillips about England.
Manchester City winger SWP was in the England squad for the summer's World Cup calamity.
But Wright told Absolute Radio: "It wouldn't be right being that I'm in the public eye. He doesn't even tell me the team.
"It doesn't happen often that you've got a father and a son, he's in the England squad, I've been in the England squad so I you'd think I can get access to that information. So I say 'I don't want to know anything' and he doesn't tell me anything, because I think it's wrong. I don't think its right that things come out of the England squad."
