Arsenal legend Nigel Winterburn fears time is running out to keep hold of Robin van Persie.

He showed his frustration in last week's defeat to Man United when Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was replaced by the Andrey Arshavin.

Winterburn told the Daily Star Sunday: "I know Robin loves Arsenal but you saw his reaction when Oxlade-Chamberlain was brought off and at the end of the game.

"It was as if he was staring into a black hole. You wonder what he was thinking - it was almost like 'oh no not again'. I do hope he stays but his reaction was worrying."
