Arsenal legend Tony Adams applies for Livingston job

Arsenal legend Tony Adams is keen on the Livingston job.

The Daily Record says the 51-year-old England and Arsenal legend has made contact with the Lions to declare an interest in replacing Kenny Miller.

Adams has been in Edinburgh this week promoting his new book 'Sober' and was alerted to the vacancy in West Lothian.

He is attempting to return to management for the first time since a seven-game spell in caretaker charge of Spanish outfit Granada in 2017 ended with a relegation from La Liga.

Adams's coaching career also includes stints at Wycombe Wanderers and Portsmouth as well as a role as sporting director with Chinese Super League side Chongqing Dangdai.

However, it's also understood that former Falkirk manager Gary Holt and ex-Queen of the South gaffer Gavin Skelton remain the frontrunners for the vacant post at the Tony Macaroni Arena.
