Arsenal legend David Seaman says Portsmouth goalkeeper David James must remain England's No1.

James was outstanding for Pompey in yesterday's FA Cup win at Southampton.

"I've always said my No.1 would be David James, but the question is whether he is fit and in form," said Seaman, speaking at the launch of the Street Child World Cup, which will also take place in South Africa next month.

"You know what you will get with David - he will make some fantastic saves, but make the odd mistake, too.

"He's eliminated most of the mistakes now."
