Arsenal legend Kenny Sansom says Chelsea skipper John Terry should be handed back the England captaincy after being cleared of racial abuse.

Sansom, winner of 86 caps, reckons Roy Hodgson should now reinstate the Chelsea defender.

The ex-Three Lions and Arsenal full-back told The Sun: "He is a great captain, the incident has happened and it is over.

"They respect him in the dressing room."
