Arsenal legend Robert Pires has told Eden Hazard to be patient at Chelsea.

Pires says the former Lille star won't find things easy in England.

"Eden Hazard must have patience during his first weeks, even during his first months at Chelsea. It may be that he will find it very difficult. Not against the big teams, but playing against the smaller clubs," Pires said.

"With his high purchase price, every time he plays he will have to perform at a top level. We should not expect that he'll immediately be as big a player as in Ligue 1. But I do not doubt his success.

"Once adjusted, his potential has no ceiling."
