Arsenal legend Henry tells Mustafi he's wrong: I can't remember...

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry says Shkodran Mustafi was wrong to say they'd played better for today's win over Tottenham.

Mustafi was asked if the performance in the 2-0 win at the Emirates was the best Arsenal had put in since he joined last year.

The German centre-back said it wasn't - but Henry thinks that's rubbish.

The Gunners legend told Sky Sports: "There was a better performance? I don't remember that then.

"The way they played today was brilliant. That's what you want. We expected that in a way because it was the derby and you need to win to go to the top five or sixish.

"They were compact. They wanted to win the game right from the first whistle they were at it.

"The front three were putting pressure on. When they lost the ball they protected the midfielders therefore it's easier for the back three.

"The wing-backs were sound and I remember Eriksen hitting the post but that was almost about it.

"They scored two against Tottenham, they didn't concede one.

"The question mark is still there, I said it when I was talking in the game, can you do that more often please?

"They were asking where you find that new level to Mesut Ozil. I don't think it's a new level.

"I think he's always had it. I've seen him play like that many times but not as much as we would like to see, it's not often consistent.

"First and foremost you win the north London derby and it's great.

"But the performance they put in today, they've got to back it up now. You have to make sure you play like that all the time."
