Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has hailed Chelsea's swoop for Pedro from Barcelona.

Pedro, 28, snubbed a move to Manchester United to complete a £21.2m move to Stamford Bridge this week.

Henry told The Sun: "Pedro is a great signing for Chelsea.

"He is the ultimate professional, he will keep the width, he has goals in his locker, he has experience and, most important of all, is a winner.

"He will make runs behind the defence, deliver assists and has great quality and can adapt in different situation.

"The key will be whether he can adapt to English football. Angel Di Maria struggled in the Premier League but that does not mean he is not a good player.

"But Mourinho will love having Pedro and he has definitely made Chelsea even stronger."
