Arsenal legend Tony Adams feels he's been taken for a ride by manager Arsene Wenger.
Adams, on the brink of taking a role with the Under 18's last summer, turned his back on a return to the club in favour of a job in China. He has just finished a stint as coach at Spanish side Granada, who have been relegated from La Liga.
Nevertheless, Adams, speaking about what he describes as Wenger's refusal to take him back to the club, told the Guardian: "I'd been at the club 23 years and they treated me like that? It was a f****** disgrace.
"I wanted to say, 'Arsene, I understand I've got no right to go back to Arsenal because I played here. Tell me if I'm not good enough'. Don't tell me, 'You're going to be the next Arsenal manager, I've got high hopes for you'."
