Arsenal legend Adams struggling in Azerbaijan

Arsenal legend Tony Adams is struggling to make his mark in Azerbaijan.

The Daily Mail says Adams, armed with a seven-figure contract and with former Spurs player Gary Stevens as his assistant, has promised to stay in the football outpost of Azerbaijan for up to 10 years building up lowly but oil-rich club side Gabala.

The Arsenal great, who has had a rocky managerial ride, says: "I’m not going to throw the baby out with the bath water."

After no wins from his first four games, Adams might struggle to last a season, let alone a decade.
