Arsenal legend Tony Adams is being linked with a move to France.
The Daily Mail says former Portsmouth boss Adams has had talks with St Etienne and could take over as coach after the French club yesterday sacked another ex-Pompey manager in Alain Perrin.
St Etienne's sporting director is Damien Comolli, who knows Adams from their time together at Highbury. The club are fourth from bottom of Ligue 1.
Adams visited the club at the beginning of December, ahead of Le Verts (the Greens) match with Sochaux. The former England captain's two-day visit attracted much media attention leading to speculation he would join the club staff.
