Arsenal have left a bid for Karim Benzema on Real Madrid's table this month.
The Gunners offered €40m for the France striker before Christmas and have informed Real the proposal remains.
Benzema has been a long-term target for Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger and is seen as an option to replace wantaway striker Alexis Sanchez.
Don Balon says the offer is the only one received for Benzema this month, but still falls short of Real president Florentino Perez's €60m valuation.
Further complicating matters is Real coach Zinedine Zidane's insistence that Benzema is a required player. Despite Zidane's support, Benzema continues to be barracked by fans this season.
Perez is eager to sell the striker and replace him with Inter Milan captain Mauro Icardi before the transfer window closes.
