Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas is not travelling with the squad to the Far East for their preseason tour. Barcelona remain determined to sign the midfielder, though Arsenal's £40 million valuation is stalling talks.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger said: "We will take the strongest possible squad, but Fabregas will not travel because he still has a small muscular problem. He will stay and practice here.
"There is a doubt about [Emmanuel] Eboue who has done his calf."
