Arsenal are keeping tabs on Hoffenheim midfielder Maicosuel.

The 23 year-old has settled in Germany after an extensive career home in Brazil, where he played for Atletico Sorocaba, Parana, Cruzeiro, Palmeiras and Botafogo.

Maicosuel is on a five-year deal at Hoffenheim and his form has him being linked with Arsenal in the German press.

Hoffenheim, for their part, have the spending power to resist any offer from the Gunners.
