Arsenal are closely monitoring Eintrach Frankfurt midfielder Takashi Inui according to reports.
The 24-year old Japanese talent has been watched by Gunners chief scout Steve Rowley whilst impressing in the Bundesliga this season.
Inui, who has represented Japan on six occasions, has scored six goals and provided a handful of assists in 28 league outings for Frankfurt since joining from VfL Bochum last summer.
MailOnline suggests that Inui, who can be deployed as a playmaker or winger, has emerged on a summer shopping list of Arsenal's which also includes a centre-back, defensive midfielder and striker.
