Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny says the Premier League goals spree is due to the standard of strikers currently in England.
Szczesny was in goal for the 8-2 hammering by Manchester United and last Sunday's sensational 5-3 win at Chelsea. He also saw Manchester City's astonishing 6-1 win at Old Trafford.
But while fingers are being pointed at the men at the back, Szczesny declared: "The reason is the quality of players at the top teams at the moment.
"We have Robin van Persie, Manchester City have Sergio Aguero and David Silva, and Manchester United have their front men as well.
"It is the quality of the attacking players that has been important. You look at the number of goals that are flying in and that shows how good the players are in the Premier League at the moment. It is as good as ever."
