Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has slammed the mega spending of Manchester City.
His hopes of getting his hands on the Carling Cup were dashed when City won at the Emirates on Tuesday.
Polish star Szczesny said: "Do City spend too much money? I say they do but it doesn't guarantee success."
He remains upbeat about Arsenal's trophy prospects even after the exit of the likes of Samir Nasri, who went to City for £24m.
He said: "Players leave and you have to accept it. It doesn't worry me, I don't care."
