Wojciech Szczesny is set to return to AS Roma for another season-long loan.
Sky Italia is reporting that the Arsenal goalkeeper will be back at the Stadio Olimpico for the 2016/17 Serie A season wth the view to a permanent deal.
Poland international Szczesny impressed for the Giallorossi last term, making 34 league appearances for the third-placed side, and will again take the gloves for Luciano Spalletti after falling out of favour under Arsene Wenger.
Petr Cech and David Ospina are ahead of Szczesny at the Emirates Stadium, forcing the 26-year-old out of North London for a second successive campaign.
It is believed that the clubs were in discussions regarding a £15million deal but it appears as though an initial 12-month loan will occur before Szczesny moves to Rome on a less temporary basis.
