Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has hailed Manchester City No1 Joe Hart as the world's best.

Hart was a vital part of City's maiden Premier League success this season, as his consistency between the posts enabled Roberto Mancini's side to finish the year boasting the meanest defence in the top flight.

"If you're asking me who is the best 'keeper in the world at the moment, I would probably say Joe Hart," said the Arsenal man.

"I know they are big words because you often think the best is not around you, it's far away in another country, but Joe has been so consistent this season it's unbelievable.

"To be that consistent at this level, for 60-odd games, is really hard. He's made a big difference to Man City and he will be a big help for England."
