Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny admits the players celebrated finishing in the top four like they'd won the Premier League.

Szczesny admitted finishing fourth was not their goal at the start of the season - but confessed a possible ­Champions League spot made it feel like they had won the title.

Szczesny, who only had one shot on target to save at Newcastle United, said: "We ­celebrated a bit like we had won the ­Championship which was a bit weird considering the ambition at the start of the season.

"We have not conceded a lot of goals and when we got the goal we were confident of getting the result."
