Arsenal keeper Lehmann close to Wolfsburg switch

Arsenal goalkeeper Jens Lehmann is set to move to Wolfsburg in January.

The deal should go through when the transfer window opens.

The 38-year-old keeper has become a nuisance since losing his place to Manuel Almunia after making blunders in the opening two games.

He has been unable to regain his place and has been critical of Almunia, claiming the Spaniard is not capable of winning matches.

The dislike is so intense that when Lehmann is on the bench he refuses to warm-up with Almunia, says the People.

Goalkeeping coach Gerry Peyton has to do it while the German does his own thing.
