Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech concedes his penalty record hasn't been good enough.
Cech has admitted his disappointment at failing to save any of the 13 penalties he has faced since joining Arsenal which is surprising given he was involved in one of the most dramatic shoot-outs against Bayern Munich in the Champions League final in 2012.
He said: “You prepare for every game, you prepare for every penalty and there are many times when you go the right way and you still don't reach because the player has driven the penalty really well.
“I have games where I saved penalties and i had games where I don't and this is where it's a spell where it's kind of unbelievable that you are preparing, doing the right thing and the outcome is always wrong. But that's the way it is sometimes.
“If you are in sports, you must keep on working, doing the right thing and you will come through it. But the most important thing for me… I think saving a penalty when you are 3-0 down and people can say you've saved a penalty but it doesn't make any difference."
