The agent of new Anderlecht striker Aleksandar Mitrovic admits Arsenal see him as a long-term target.
Mitrovic moved to Anderlecht yesterday from Partizan Belgrade.
Arsenal were also keen, but UK work permit issues forced them to shelve a deal for the 18 year-old - though they will follow his progress in Belgium.
Agent Nenad Jestrovic confirmed to TMW: "Yes, Arsenal showed great interest, but he ended up at Anderlecht as they tried more insistently and were never ready to quit."
Interestingly, Chelsea signed another Serb, Lazar Markovic, before allowing him to move on-loan to Benfica due to work permit issues this summer.
