Arsenal are preparing a bid for Sporting CP winger Gelson Martins.

O Jogo says new Gunners boss Unai Emery wants to bring in a wide player as he seeks to put his stamp on the north London club.

Italian giants Juventus could bid for the player to replace Colombian Juan Cuadrado, who is expected to leave in the summer.

A host of other clubs including Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham have all previously been linked with Martins.

The Portugal international has a contract until 2022 but also has a £52.7m release clause built into that contract.
