Arsenal & Inter Milan fighting it out for contract rebel Bernard

Arsenal are one of three clubs targeting contract rebel Bernard.

The Shakhtar Donestk winger is refusing to sign an extension on his current deal, which runs out in June 2018.

TransferMarketWeb claim the Gunners, as well as Inter Milan and Hebei China Fortune, are interested in adding the 25-year-old to their ranks.

A deceptive and skilful winger, Bernard has excelled at the Ukrainian giants since moving from his native Brazil four-and-a-half years ago.

With Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil likely to leave north London in January or at the end of the season, Arsene Wenger is identifying replacements.

Inter Milan transfer boss, Walter Sabatini, has previously tried to sign Bernard when he was at Roma.

Bernard has made fourteen appearances for Brazil, however, his last cap came in 2014.
