Arsenal has signed a global partnership with China-based electric vehicle manufacturer BYD Auto, reports SportBusiness.

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but Arsenal said the relationship came to fruition after the team's pre-season tour to Shanghai and Beijing in China prior to the 2017-18 campaign.

BYD will benefit from a range of marketing rights, including a branding presence on pitchside LED signage and dugout seats inside Arsenal's Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal will also work with BYD to create unique experiences for customers and engage with fans via the club's official social media channels.

In addition, BYD will have access to 'Arsenal Legends' for promotional events in China.

Arsenal said the deal represents the first of its kind in the Premier League.
