Arsenal icon Henry looking for action from NYRB

Thierry Henry has urged New York Red Bulls to act quickly after opening the season without a win from six matches.

The Red Bulls were beaten 1-0 by DC United on the weekend to take their 2014 record to four draws and two losses which has them placed ninth on the Eastern Conference table.

In the wake of that defeat, star striker Henry is eager for the Red Bulls to bounce back strongly when they meet Philadelphia Union at Red Bull Arena on Wednesday night.

"At the moment, we're reacting every time instead of acting, and it's about time that we can start the game like we finish them and also play 90 minutes like we played the second half against DC," he said.

"We know it's not always possible, that you're going to have some difficult patches in the game, but we have to manage them better and play with the same attitude.

"That's the aim for the game [Wednesday]."

So far this season, New York have netted just six goals and conceded 10 as they look to overcome the Union, who are fourth in the East after recording seven points in their opening six fixtures.
