Arsenal hope to sell goalkeeper Manuel Almunia this week.
The Sun says Bendtner will be offloaded this week after he was frozen out of Arsenal's Far East tour.
Almunia looks set to return to Spain, with Atletico Madrid and Malaga both keen to snap him up.
Almunia, 34, has one year left on his contract and could leave for around £1m.
