Arsenal hero Winterburn: I’m disappointed with Henry
Arsenal hero Nigel Winterburn was stunned by Thierry Henry's blatant hand-ball for France this week.
Gunners legend Winterburn said he was stunned that a player of Henry's stature would stoop so low.
He told The Sun: "It clearly was cheating. He clearly plays the ball with his hand and the goal should have been disallowed.
"I'm slightly disappointed really with Thierry's reaction after when he was celebrating. But I think this morning, knowing Thierry Henry, when he wakes up and realises that the disappointment and the reaction, particularly in England, that he's been receiving, it will hurt him a lot.
"It will hurt him because he's had such a massive reputation over in England. I think it would probably hurt him even more if he was still playing his football in the Premier League. So maybe it might be a good thing that he's actually playing over in Barcelona.
"His reputation has been damaged over here because everybody remembers him as such a magical player.
"Now they're going to be looking to the handball incident that eventually knocked Ireland out of the World Cup."

I am an Arsenal fan and have been all my life. Henry has just sunk to the lowest point he ever could in my eyes. He has made me sick of football. He is the Captain of a team who shouldn´t be at the World Cup. I don´t really have much love for the Irish because they hate us English but France do not deserve to be at the World Cup. It´s a scamming, cheating, money driven, dirty, lying, thieving, *****, ***** shit, corrupt and mean French crowd that run MAFIFIA!!! Do you remember Spain in the Quarters against Korea and the winning goal that was disallowed? Why? So that the home nation could be in the semis. Look into that result see who was betting on what. While you´re at it check out the linesman, all his family, friends and see is he hiding money in some offshore haven because if he didn´t see the offside or hand ball in that France Ireland game then he needs glasses, he had a clear line of sight. Thats a bit of cheating with the refs, 201 games to be investigated. But ***** it Henry cheated, dont blame the ref, Henry cheated so give him a 3 match ban or ***** the World of Soccer, Rugby might be a bit Gay but at least it´s honest. Henry is a Cheat!!!
i bet if it was against San Marino, no one would give a shit, give the guy a break
You are the only low life, here!
