Arsenal hero Wilson declares Southampton keeper Forster 'miracle man'

Arsenal hero Bob Wilson hailed Southampton goalkeeper Fraser Forster's performance for the draw at the Emirates.

Forster pulled off a series of outstanding saves to earn Saints a 0-0 draw last night and make it four games without conceding since his return from a serious knee injury.

"It was an exceptional goalkeeping display," said Wilson.

“The first thing that hits you about Fraser is his size, I was with David at the game and you have got two of a kind.

“You have got David, who is six foot four-and-a-half and 15 stone and Fraser, who is huge.

“You look at them and think are they mobile enough, and they are.

“Where I am admiring Fraser most is he has come back so well from a real long lay-off from a career-threatening injury.

“As regards who won Southampton the point it was Fraser without any doubt.

“I saw somebody run to Southampton's goalkeeping coach (Dave Watson) and literally throw himself onto him at the end of the game. It was like, 'That's a miracle display!"
