Former Arsenal star Giovanni van Bronckhorst has praised Everton for their capture of Real Madrid midfielder Royston Drenthe on-loan.
Drenthe arrived at Goodison Park on transfer deadline day and has already stated he feels the Premier League will bring out the best in him.
"I think Royston will be suited," Van Bronckhorst told evertonfc.com. "He always brings massive energy to the game and I think the Premier League suits his play better than the Spanish Primera Division did.
"Royston is a pacy, left-footed player, skilful and with a lot of drive, character and energy. He has a good shot and can play any position on the left side, even as a full back, although I gather he prefers the midfield or attack himself."
