Former Arsenal striker Alan Smith has called on Theo Walcott to start playing with consistency.
Walcott faces Liverpool full of confidence after his performance in victory over Tottenham.
"It is time he added some consistency to those obvious strengths of pace and finishing or else lose out to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain for that berth on the right.
"The player's challenge now is to influence more games from the start by thinking how best to use his main attributes. That means knowing when to come short, when to go long, when to move inside and when to release the pass."Smith wrote in the Telegraph: "About to turn 23, the winger can't be classed as a youngster any more, having been around the Premier League for more than five years.
