Arsenal hero Emmanuel Petit says Arsene Wenger's successor needs to boast major experience.
Wenger will end his 22-year rule over the club when he takes charge of his final game against Huddersfield Town today.
On the Frenchman's potential replacements, Petit told RMC: "For me, (Massimiliano) Allegri has done remarkable work at Juve with a budget far from that of the big European teams.
"(Patrick) Vieira could also be a solution, but I think it's still premature."
Petit is even less effusive when describing Manchester City coach Arteta's chances.
He added: "I don't see it. He's very good next to Pep Guardiola on the bench at Manchester City."
