Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain admits he couldn't believe it when he was celebrating his Champions League strike against Olympiakos this week.

Only last season, the Ox was watching Champions League games at home with his dad, former England winger Mark Chamberlain.

"I used to watch the Champions League at home with my family, my friends and my dad. It seemed so far away last year," said the super teen.

"You get one chance and you have to take your opportunities. When I scored on Wednesday, I was shocked.

"As I was running away to the crowd, I really couldn't believe it.

"It didn't cross my mind it was a Champions League game until after the match and I sat down and thought about it.

"I scored a few at Southampton and went straight down on my knees, so that's where that came from."
