Arsenal hero Oxlade-Chamberlain hopes he did enough to get Spurs start

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain hopes his goal in victory over Olympiakos keeps him in the Arsenal team for the derby against Tottenham.

The attacker was impressive in the Champions League triumph.

"I'm definitely hoping to play Spurs this weekend. If I'm not aspiring to being in the squad then there is something wrong," he said.

"It is a hard squad to get into because we have some top-quality players in there and I have to keep working hard to get in the squad.

"There are a lot of players who can play in that position, not just me and Theo, so I am going to keep on working hard."
