Arsenal hero Paul Merson says West Ham United midfielder Scott Parker is the man to replace Cesc Fabregas.
Merson sees West Ham star Parker as the ideal replacement for want-away Fabregas.
And the former England hero Merson says 30-year-old Parker is the sort of mature talent who will help nurture Jack Wilshere into an international star.
Merson said: "Scott was the best midfielder in the country last year and Arsenal have got to buy players that are going to produce now - not in two or three years' time.
"He would slot in alongside Jack Wilshere straight away and really help Jack along."
