Arsenal hero Paul Merson is backing Olivier Giroud for the Golden Boot.
Merson explained in his column for the Daily Star: "He's a man in form and he's going to play every week because Arsenal don't have anybody else.
"Van Persie may well get rested ahead of big games, and Suarez isn't playing at all yet because of his ban from last season.
"But there are plenty of other reasons why Giroud could end up top of the pile come the end of the season.
"He already has three goals this season and he looks a changed man. But now he has the perfect set-up man playing behind him in Mesut Ozil, he could be unstoppable."
