Arsenal hero Martin Keown has likened Manchester United veteran Ryan Giggs to Sir Stanley Matthews.

Keown wrote in the Daily Mail: "Ryan Giggs impressed again against West Ham. He is the modern-day Stanley Matthews.

"The former Blackpool and Stoke man played until he was 50. Giggs is 40 this year and is still truly amazing. His manager Sir Alex Ferguson doesn't worry when he has an occasional poorer performance. He ignores any voices of derision. And Giggs continues to deliver."
