Arsenal hero Martin Keown says Manchester City will have been floored by their late defeat to Champions League opponents Bayern Munich.
Keown wrote in the Daily Mail: "It was a very good, professional performance from Manchester City for 89 minutes but in the end they fell just short.
"A draw could have done wonders for their confidence because we saw last season when they got a result at Bayern that they went on a great run.
"They are the sort of results that stay with you, give you confidence that if you can get a result there, you can do it anywhere.
"Mentally, it would have been a big achievement, but now they have a disappointment to get over. Arsene Wenger always said it was the competition of last-minute goals!"
