Arsenal hero Alan Smith is convinced Alexis Sanchez will leave this summer.

The Chile international will enter the final 12 months of his Arsenal contract next month and has been linked with a move to Premier League champions Chelsea.

He told talkSPORT: "Champions League football might play a part [in Sanchez's decision].

"All the top lads want to be involved in that competition.

"I don't know, I can't read his mind how happy he is there. How badly does he want to win trophies?"
