Arsenal have placed Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette top of their shopping list.

The Mirror says the France international is hot property after firing 29 goals in all competitions this term.

He is under contract until 2019 but Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has set a £52.5m asking price.

Arsenal attempted to sign Lacazette last summer but had a £35m bid knocked back.

Lacazette, 25, has already admitted he is hoping to leave Lyon this summer.

“I think that the right moment has arrived to leave," he said. “I think that this summer I will need a change of scenery and discover something else, still with the idea of advancing and progressing in terms of football and as a person.

“I will continue to work, in the hope that good opportunities will come this summer."
