Gabriel Paulista is of the belief that Arsenal are capable of winning the Premier League title next season.

The Gunners' already slim chances of bridging the gap with Chelsea were dashed on Sunday when the Blues defeated Crystal Palace to go 13 points clear of their London rivals.

Arsenal have two games in hand on Chelsea but are too far behind to make up the ground required, however, their performances this season suggest to Brazilian defender Gabriel that perhaps 2015/16 could be the season for the north Londoners to return to the Premier League winners' dais.

"The title... it's not easy, but if we prepare hard enough, we've got everything that is needed to win it," the defender, speaking through a translator, told Sky Sports.

"We're taking into account that Arsenal has had a bad patch and has worked through it.

"If we manage to win the title (the FA Cup) and come second, then yes, it will have been a good season."
