Arsenal have crept up on us - Chelsea's Cahill

Chelsea defender Gary Cahill admits Arsenal have placed some pressure on their title pursuit.

The Gunners sit in second place on the Premier League table, seven points behind the Blues, and Cahill suggests the Capital One Cup winners can feel their London rivals breathing down their neck.

"They've crept up and we started our game against Stoke with Arsenal in second position. They've gone about it quietly. They are obviously in fantastic form," he said.

"It's easier with us in this position but there is still that element of pressure to finish the job. We've worked so hard this season to put ourselves in the position we are in so we want to go all the way and finish it."

This weekend, Chelsea meet third-bottom QPR at Loftus Road on Sunday while Arsenal also have a potential banana skin as they head to 19th-placed Burnley on Saturday.
