Arsenal have handed Theo Walcott number 14, Thierry Henry's old number, for the new season.

Walcott had worn the number thirty two shirt since being signed from Southampton two and a half years ago but now takes on the number made famous by The Gunners' record goalscorer and earlier Johann Cruyff.

Elsewhere, young starlet Aaron Ramsey, who joined in the summer from Cardiff, has been given the number 16.
