Patrick Vieira is believed to be in line for the Manchester City managerial job.
The Daily Mail reports that the Frenchman, currently in charge of City's Elite Development Squad, could replace Manuel Pellegrini this summer.
It is also believed that former Arsenal star Vieira, who ended his career as a player with City in 2011, could even step in as interim boss if the Etihad Stadium outfit happen to relieve Pellegrini of his duties prior to the end of the campaign.
Vieira has been doing a wonderful job with City's reserves and youth teams and is being touted as a future manager by club owner Sheikh Mansour and chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak.
