Ray Parlour believes Liverpool could be the perfect fit for Manchester City keeper Joe Hart.

Hart is currently on in Italy at Torino and is expected to leave the Citizens on a permanent move in the summer.

England international Hart has been linked with Arsenal while other big Premier League clubs have been credited with an interest but Gunners great Parlour feels Anfield could a nice destination for Hart.

"[Petr] Cech has been there and done it in big competitions – he's won the Champions League and Premier League titles," Parlour told talkSPORT.

"I'm sure that if Joe Hart wants to come back to England they'd be quite a few takers in the Premier League.

"I can see him definitely coming back to England, but maybe not right at the top level - not to Chelsea, Manchester United or Tottenham.

"Liverpool would be a good fit for him, but other than that you're looking at a mid-table side."
