Thierry Henry was at his best yet again for New York Red Bull on the weekend.
The performance of Henry, who has scored 14 goals and provided 12 assists in 22 appearances, was not lost on New York head coach Hans Backe who feels he may have the player in MLS at his disposal.
"Thierry was phenomenal. He set up every goal except his own," said Backe.
"When he shines like this, you could say he's the best player in the league."
New York fell behind in the seventh minute when Jamaican winger Ryan Johnson but Toronto ahead but enter Henry who set up Markus Holgersson for the 13th minute leveller before twice supplying Kenny Cooper and then finishing the job off with a goal late in proceedings to keep his side second on the Eastern Conference table.
