Arsenal great Henry 'annoyed' at Cooper's NYRB departure

New York Red Bull captain Thierry Henry admits the offseason exit of Kenny Cooper has left him 'annoyed'.

Cooper, who scored 18 goals to be New York's leading scorer last term, was shipped out to FC Dallas because of salary cap reasons and the enormity of the roster move has not been lost on Henry.

"To replace 18 goals we're going to have to all share that," said Henry.

"Kenny was a hell of a goal-scorer. Kenny was (moved) for the salary cap, that's the only reason he left. It wasn't for (soccer) reasons. It is annoying."
