Arsenal to go on summer tour of Far East

Arsenal have announced that they will head to the Far East for a summer tour.

The Gunners will return to Asia following last year's successful sojourn to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and China.

This year the North London club will had back to KL with a match against a Malaysia XI on July 24, a friendly with Manchester City in Beijing on the 27th and a meeting with Kitchee FC in Hong Kong on the 29th.

"Further to the overwhelming success of our visit to Kuala Lumpur in 2011, everyone associated with Arsenal is very excited to once again be visiting Malaysia this year," chief executive Ivan Gazidis announced on the club's official website.

"We are delighted that our many loyal fans in Malaysia and neighbouring regions will again have the chance to see their team in action and live.

"We had a fantastic time in Malaysia last year and we are all looking forward to visiting this great country and meeting its wonderful people again in July."
